Good company starts with us.

A spontaneous plan should feel welcoming. These are the standards for everyone using NOW.

Be a person others want to meet.

Be honest about yourself and your plans. Respect different backgrounds, identities, abilities, and comfort levels. Give people room to decline, leave, or change their mind.

Respect boundaries.

No harassment, hate, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual behaviour, exploitation, or sharing private information. Consent to join an activity is not consent to anything else. Do not keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.

Keep activities safe and lawful.

No scams, unlawful goods or services, dangerous challenges, or deceptive invitations. NOW is for adults 18 and over. Do not misrepresent your age or use the service to contact children.

Share thoughtfully.

Only upload content you are allowed to share. Ask before sharing photos of others. Do not post private addresses, identity documents, financial information, or explicit sexual content. Avoid spam and unsolicited promotions.

Take care when meeting.

Choose a public place, arrange your own transport, and consider telling someone you trust where you’re going. Approximate location is a useful option, but your words and photos can still identify a place. Leave any situation that makes you uncomfortable.

Report concerns.

Use the report and block controls in NOW, or email support@joinnowapp.com with relevant account or activity details. We may remove content or restrict accounts for violations. If you think a decision was mistaken, contact support to request review.

NOW is not an emergency service.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the Netherlands and across the EU, call 112.
