Terms of Service
NOW is a place to discover nearby activities and connect with people. These terms explain your responsibilities and ours.
1. Who provides NOW
NOW is provided by Present Labs, based in the Netherlands. Contact: support@joinnowapp.com. These terms apply to the NOW app and website. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 to use NOW. Provide accurate account information, keep your login secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, evade an account restriction, or let someone else misuse your account.
3. Use NOW respectfully
Follow our Community Guidelines. Do not use NOW for harassment, threats, discrimination, exploitation, sexual solicitation, scams, unlawful activity, spam, or sharing another person’s private information without permission. Do not attack the service, scrape personal data, or attempt unauthorized access.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in content you create. You give us a non-exclusive permission to host, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate NOW and apply your selected audience settings. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to necessary backup, safety, and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy. Only post content you have the right to share.
Other users may save or copy content before it disappears. An activity’s expiration is not a guarantee that every copy has been erased.
5. Meeting in real life
NOW helps people connect; we do not organize, supervise, verify, or guarantee every activity or participant. Decide whether an activity is suitable for you, meet in a public place, respect consent and boundaries, and follow local laws and venue rules. Do not rely on NOW for emergencies. Call 112 in the Netherlands or your local emergency number if someone is in immediate danger.
6. Reports, moderation, and account restrictions
You can report concerns and block users in the app, or email support@joinnowapp.com. We may remove content or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to address violations, safety risks, legal requirements, or abuse. Where appropriate and legally required, we will explain the decision. You can ask us to review a moderation decision by emailing support and explaining why you believe it was mistaken.
7. Availability and changes
NOW is under active development. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. We may update these terms, publish the revised date here, and provide notice of material changes where required. You may stop using NOW and request deletion if you do not wish to continue.
8. Ending your account
You may request complete deletion at any time through Delete account. The page also explains the current in-app removal option and any additional steps. We may retain limited records where necessary for legal obligations or justified safety purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Responsibility and applicable law
You are responsible for your conduct and content. We remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Dutch law applies, without removing mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply in your country of residence. Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it.
